Official Contest Rules

Name Our Southern Heritage Mahjong Set

This contest (the “Contest”) is sponsored by Pat’s Monograms, located in Southaven, Mississippi (“Sponsor”). The Contest is not sponsored, endorsed, administered by, or associated with any social media platform including Instagram, Facebook, or TikTok.

The Contest begins on June 23, 2026 at 12:00 AM Central Time and ends on July 3, 2026 at 11:59 PM Central Time (the “Contest Period”). Entries submitted before or after the Contest Period will not be eligible. The Sponsor’s computer is the official timekeeping device for this Contest.

The Contest is open to legal residents of the United States who are eighteen (18) years of age or older at the time of entry. Employees, officers, directors, agents, and representatives of Pat’s Monograms, and members of their immediate families (spouse, parent, child, sibling, and their respective spouses) or households, whether or not related, are not eligible to enter or win. Void where prohibited by law.

To enter the Contest during the Contest Period:

1.   Follow the Pat’s Monograms account on the social media platform where the Contest post appears (Instagram, Facebook, or TikTok).

2.   Comment on the official Contest post with your suggested name for the Southern Heritage Mahjong Set and a brief explanation of what inspired your name suggestion.

Limit of one (1) primary entry per person across all platforms. Duplicate entries will be disqualified. Entries must be submitted by the entrant personally. Entries generated by script, macro, bot, or other automated means are not eligible.

By submitting an entry, each entrant irrevocably grants Pat’s Monograms a perpetual, royalty-free, worldwide, transferable license to use, reproduce, modify, publish, display, distribute, and commercialize the submitted name and any related content in any medium or format, for any purpose, without further notice, permission, or compensation to the entrant beyond the prize described herein.

The Sponsor reserves the right to use the winning name — and any other submitted names — for commercial purposes, including but not limited to naming, marketing, trademarking, and selling products under any submitted name. Entrants warrant that their submission is original, does not infringe any third-party intellectual property rights, and has not been previously published or registered.

One (1) Grand Prize winner will receive:

•      One (1) complete Southern Heritage Mahjong Set (approximate retail value to be determined at time of production), including the winner’s choice of mat style: reference mat or art-only mat.

•      Standard shipping within the continental United States.

No cash equivalent or substitution of prize is permitted except at the sole discretion of the Sponsor. The Sponsor reserves the right to substitute a prize of equal or greater value if the stated prize becomes unavailable. Prize is non-transferable. Winner is responsible for all federal, state, and local taxes on the prize, if applicable.

The prize will be fulfilled when the Southern Heritage Mahjong Set production run is completed and sets are available for shipping. The Sponsor will notify the winner of the estimated fulfillment timeline. No compensation will be provided for any delay in fulfillment due to production timelines.

One (1) winner will be selected by the Sponsor from all eligible entries received during the Contest Period. The winner will be selected based on the creativity, originality, and appropriateness of the name submission and its accompanying explanation, as judged by representatives of Pat’s Monograms in their sole discretion. This is a skill-based contest — chance plays no role in winner selection.

The Sponsor reserves the right to not select a winner if, in the Sponsor’s sole judgment, an insufficient number of eligible entries are received or no entry meets the Sponsor’s standards.

The Sponsor also reserves the right to use any non-winning submitted name for commercial purposes as described in Section 5 above.

The potential winner will be notified via direct message on the social media platform through which they entered, within seven (7) days of the end of the Contest Period. The potential winner must respond within forty-eight (48) hours of notification to claim the prize. If the potential winner does not respond within forty-eight (48) hours, or if the prize notification is returned as undeliverable, the Sponsor reserves the right to disqualify that entrant and select an alternate winner.

The winner may be required to complete and return an Affidavit of Eligibility and Liability/Publicity Release within seven (7) days of the date of notification. Failure to return the required documents within the specified time may result in disqualification and selection of an alternate winner.

Except where prohibited by law, entry and acceptance of a prize constitutes the winner’s consent to Pat’s Monograms’ use of the winner’s name, social media handle, likeness, photograph, voice, opinions, and entry, for promotional, advertising, and marketing purposes in any medium worldwide without further payment or consideration.

•      The Sponsor reserves the right to cancel, suspend, or modify the Contest if fraud, technical failures, or any other factor impairs the integrity or proper functioning of the Contest, as determined by the Sponsor in its sole discretion.

•      The Sponsor reserves the right to disqualify any individual who tampers with the entry process or acts in a disruptive or unsportsmanlike manner.

•      The Sponsor is not responsible for lost, late, incomplete, invalid, unintelligible, or misdirected entries.

•      The Sponsor is not responsible for any injury or damage to entrants or any other person’s computer or device related to or resulting from participating in this Contest.

•      By entering, each entrant releases and holds harmless the Sponsor and its respective officers, directors, employees, and agents from any and all liability in connection with this Contest or the acceptance, use, or misuse of any prize.

•      The Sponsor’s failure to enforce any provision of these Official Rules shall not constitute a waiver of that provision.

All issues and questions concerning the construction, validity, interpretation, and enforceability of these Official Rules, or the rights and obligations of entrants and the Sponsor in connection with the Contest, shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Mississippi, without giving effect to any choice of law or conflict of law rules. Any and all disputes shall be resolved exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Mississippi.

This Contest is in no way sponsored, endorsed, administered by, or associated with Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, or any other social media platform. By entering, each entrant acknowledges that they are providing information to Pat’s Monograms and not to any social media platform. The information provided will only be used as described in these Official Rules.

To request the name of the winner, send a self-addressed stamped envelope to: Pat’s Monograms, 6376 Silo Square Ln S., Suite 103, Southaven, Mississippi, 38672 within thirty (30) days of the close of the Contest Period.
